Avista Solutions Completes Integration With Kroll Factual Data

At the request of Avista customers, LOS system users can now pull credit reports directly through Kroll

Avista Solutions, a leading web-based mortgage loan origination software company, recently announced the completion of its integration with verification service company Kroll Factual Data. This direct integration allows Avista Solutions customers to pull credit through Kroll without leaving the Avista Agile LOS™ system - providing a simple, convenient credit solution for lenders.

Kroll Factual Data representatives attended Avista Solutions’ Third Annual Customer Conference in May, where the partnership was announced. The news was met with appreciation, as integration with Kroll Factual Data is an enhancement customers have requested. “We’ve had many customers request access to Kroll for credit reports,” said Avista Solutions CEO Mark Phlieger. “We are pleased to be able to provide this direct integration to meet our customers’ requests.”

Both companies look forward to a prosperous relationship. Jeff Gentry, Kroll Factual Data’s Vice President of Business Development, says the partnership will satisfy Kroll lender clients who have requested integration with Avista, plus help attract Kroll credit service users to Avista. “The integration will be very beneficial for our mutual clients,” he said. “Avista Solutions seems to be taking a hold and growing in this industry, so it’s also is a great partnership opportunity for Kroll Factual Data. And we have a significant market share for credit reporting, so if a potential Avista client already uses Kroll, the transition will be that much easier.”

Kroll’s credit services feature easy-to-read reports in a PDF format, which Gentry said lenders prefer tremendously over credit reports in a text format. “Our reports have a graphical interface,” Gentry said. “It makes it easier to pick out the derogatory items and see who the credit scores are for.” The reports are also customizable, allowing lenders to select the format of each report. The integration is now available to all Avista Agile LOS users.

The Avista Agile LOS origination platform lets users create loan applications on-line through the system or import applications from external loan origination software. The consumer website portal allows lenders to provide their customers on-line loan application, status updates, loan officer webpages, and even on-line disclosure and immediate approval at the lender’s option.
